Welcome to Move-In Day
Ah, move-in day. That magical day of the year where the population of the town of Lakeland doubles within eight hours.
The lobby of Daniel Webster Hall is based at least in part on some of the more stylish hotel lobbies and buildings from the 1930’s and ’40’s: gleaming polished marble, inlaid metal and wood, and the like. At least some inspiration was taken from the lobby shown in The Maltese Falcon.
Lisa’s so adorkable! Poor thing… Hope she’s not eaten alive buy all the new commers!
