Hello, readers! I’m putting McCall on Call on break this week. I wasn’t happy with the scripts for this week’s comics, and I wanted to take a moment to step back and retool them slightly, but didn’t want to rush it like the last time I did a last minute rewrite. Regular service should be back on October 15th. See you then!

So I have had two conventions back-to-back, and we did not get back from Camp Tiny Paws until late Sunday night. My original intent was to use the Monday I had off to recover and draw this week’s comics buuuuuut some Life things happened that no kidding had to be taken care of today so that didn’t happen.
I’ll be spending the rest of the week making up hours at work to mitigate the days off I took for my trips, and I really need to stop staying up until 4 AM to finish my comic the day it updates.
The long and short of it is, McCall on Call is going to be delayed until next week, Tuesday, August 20, so I can take this weekend where I don’t actually have anything I have to do and draw the strips right.
In other news, McCall on Call hits one year old this week! One year of mostly-continuous updates, with a few hiccups here and there. I look forward to the next year, and many more after that!
